Modular design infrastructure · GCC
LYRA is a design-driven, modular furniture platform for the events and exhibitions industry. One shared connection system and one signature cover system carry across every product, so a single fleet can serve a neutral corporate setting one week and a fully branded activation the next.
Why we built a modular platform for the GCC events industry, and what it replaces.
Every well-designed event space eventually meets the same compromise: rent furniture that is available but generic, or build bespoke pieces that get discarded after two days. LYRA exists to remove that trade-off. It is a design-led furniture rental platform built on a proprietary super-modular architecture, one system of shared, interchangeable components that reconfigures into a wide range of furniture typologies rather than a fixed catalogue.
Our mission is to give event professionals across the GCC access to design-led, endlessly reconfigurable furniture infrastructure. The long-term vision is to become the region's default design infrastructure layer for events, exhibitions, and institutional spaces, built by a team with two decades of hands-on event and exhibition design experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Four product families, one shared logic: components designed to connect, cover, and reconfigure across every setup.
LYRA's core seating and table system, built around a shared 4-point connection base used across every seat, stool, and lounge piece in the family. The same small set of components combines into standard chairs, office and bar seating, VIP lounge pieces, sofas, and a full run of table heights each finished with LYRA's signature removable, customizable cover.
A modular acoustic partition wall and panel system for shaping and quieting a space without a fixed build. Stackable frame modules extend to whatever height a layout needs, with panels attached through a gravity-lock system and finished in LYRA's signature cover system for fast branding changes between events.
Soft, modular communal seating built from a single repeating unit that grows into sofas of any length, whether along a wall, around a corner, or wrapping a lounge area. Seat, back, and side table modules connect through one consistent joint and share the same removable, customizable cover system as the rest of the platform.
A curated range of complementary pieces that round out any LYRA setup: lightweight stackable chairs, foldable coffee tables, and smart power and charging accessories. Rented and administered on the same terms as the rest of the platform, this category grows as client needs do.
What sets the platform apart from a conventional rental catalogue.
A proprietary 4-point base underlies every seating piece in Vega, meaning fewer distinct parts, faster assembly, and easier maintenance in the field.
LYRA's signature removable, customizable cover system lets one fleet serve a neutral corporate look one week and a fully branded activation the next.
One coherent system designed to operate across Qatar, UAE, KSA, and Oman, rather than fragmented national suppliers with mismatched catalogues.
Created by a team with two decades of international event and exhibition design experience, not a generic fabrication shop.
Rolling out across the GCC's events and exhibitions market.
LYRA is built for the pace of exhibitions and live events: fast fit-outs, fast strike, and a fleet that reconfigures for the next brief rather than sitting idle between them.
